I suppose Hollywood in ones mind is what you make it. Most of the glamor and sparkle you see on T.V. isn't seen from the street. Except if you go to the Christmas parade. I use to find that interesting. To this day i still would spend the night along Colorado Blvd. ringing in the new year to watch the Rose Parade, now that was fun.

i was there last year for new years. i wouldn't really recommend it. there is live music and a few bars and clubs, and the hard rock cafe is always cool, but it was so crowded that i couldn't even walk around. i think i deffinetly would have had a better time going out somewhere a bit less crowded with my friends. id hate to be claustrophobic and stuck there on new years. hope this helped.

Jill, James and that i in no way lined staring at this on television. some visitors who got here could opt to observe it, yet we've been in no way involved. As for going to ny and being there for this experience? No way! i could somewhat stay the night in an igloo than to stand with hundreds of human beings, shoulder to shoulder to observe a ball drop! Nope, not into extensive crowds, interior the freezing night air. this is not my form of exciting.
