I have had this good friend for 15 years now. We hang out all the time and even share an apartment. We do a lot of crazy things, including wrestling, drinking wine, roadtrips, fake weddings, and going to art shows. Recently, I said I was thinking of getting married and he got angry. We talked and he told me not only was he a homosexual, but that he thought we were together (for 15 years!), and that our fake marriage was a real one! He said when we wrestle we are actually having homosexual sex! I am a straight man! What can I do? Everything is strange now!

I have to wonder how perceptive you are? 15 years is a long time to live with some one and spend a lot of time with and not get a clue that they are homosexual. Why would you do a pretend marriage with a man if your not homosexual? If your not homosexual, then you have no problem. Just tell him that your sorry if he misinturputed the last 15 years but your straight and getting married. He will just have to understand.

That you would have a "fake" marriage with a person of the same sex shows you have some gender identity problems in the first place. Guys who are straight usually draw some pretty solid lines in all ways in terms of homosexual tendencies.
If your intention is to date and marry a woman, then this "friendship" now has become eroneous - and if you are to succeed in heterosexual dating, your guy friends should be straight guys who are dating, and able to give you advice per experience.
Time to move out.

Is he pulling a huge prank???
My boyfriend was in a situation like this, though not so drastic. His male friend in highschool thought that something romantic was going on between them, and he started writing him love letters. It freaked my boyfriend out, and he had to stop talking to him for a little while, then decided that he can still be friends with him (infact he just talked to him the other day), but not AS close as they were.
I don't really know what to tell you, but I would explain to him my feelings, and move out and get my own place. You can still be friends with him, just not as close as you were. I'm sure wrestling and fake marriages will no longer be fun. Good Luck, i hope everything goes okay...

Think for a second. Before you go running off, think how you would feel in his position? If I were you, I would seriously sit down and talk to him and explain what has been really going on. It must be really confusing in his place...he should really get and explanation. Also, why would you fake marry? I mean...that's sorta...a waste of money?

Run. Run as fast as you can. But you didn't know that he liked you even after the fake marriage?
