she talks too much on the phone ,to people,to herself all the time. The only time we get a break is when she gets a cold or sore throat. It is not that she talks too much, it's what she talks about and it isn't pleasent topics

Maybe when your Mom is talking to you you could steer her away from unpleasant topics by bringing up new pleasant topics that you would want to talk about.

If the other people she talks to on the phone or in person don't stop her then they probably don't have the same issue with her topics of conversation as you do.

Just enjoy your time together. We never no how long we have with our moms.

Maybe u should try to talk to one of your other close relatives..if u can move in..until u solve something. But keep in mind u're at the person home..so u can't shut them up.U should probably try to find a good job and get an apartment...anyways Happy New Year..May god be with u...just never give up...on what u need.

Be nice here--sounds like you have a choice--you can get out on your own--unless you are still in school and then you finish first--remember it is OK to excuse yourself form the room when she talks about things you don't want to listen to--Ever thought your Mom is lonely??

ha ha! sorry jadeen but you and me happen to be in thesame boat.

first of all... you can NOT do anything about it. You can only change you reaction or give her a subtle sarcastic answer ( no malice please)

Have a nice day, and good luck.

Move out of your mother's house. That will solve the problem.
