My girlfriend wants me to get my penis pierced. She suggested what is called a frenum piercing, or at least I think that's what it's called. How painful is it? How long will it hurt? How long to heal?

I have both a frenum and ampallang, so I have some experience here. Genital piercings are designed for pleasure, not pain. As for the previous respondant, what do you mean "when you get an erection...ow!" A good piercist will place a genital piercing properly, and with proper jewelry, resulting in a natural feel whether erect or flaccid.

The frenum piercing is the easiest of all male genital modifications. It is the least invasive and least painful. In essence, it is a piercing on the ventral side of the penis below the glans, perpendiculat to the shaft. A ring or barbbell can be worn.

I got my frenum pireced last january. it hurt like a ***** but it wasnt the most painful piercing i have gotten (getting my nipples pierced hurt most if you are wondering) It will hurt for a few days especially when you sit down too fast. Mine healed pretty well after six months, although i stretched it since then.

i have a prince albert piercing. also, i have two piercings directly under the middle of my scrotum. you ask about the pain level. the prince albert was bloody, but not that painful. healing time was a good 6-8 weks, but my wife an i were having sex within a week. it was a little sore, but bearable. the two scrotum piercings WERE both painful. bleeding was minimal. the pain level was quite high. recovery time was at least 10-12 weeks. this is because the area is usually moist. healing does best in dry areas of the body. good luck!
