if your having trouble with breathing do to mucus and stuff and haven't seen a doctor do it right away before it gets worst.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by pressure breathing, but if the mucus is getting into your lower airway, you might be getting a secondary infection in your bronchioles. Anytime they are inflamed/constricted, and/or if there is fluid in your lungs, your breathing will be affected.

Yes because that is how the mucous gets into your lungs, that can eventually cause them to collapse, you to pass out and die, in the most extreme case, of course.
