It's awfully silly to be afraid of a god that doesn't even exist.

"They claim they don't acknowledge the almighty but they're just afraid of him. "
No... YOU claim that. Demonstrate ANY atheist who has said that they're afraid of a god that they don't even believe in, and I'll show you an invisible pink unicorn. Whatever happened to "Thou shalt not bear false witness", hmm?

"I bet I know how they will act when they meet God in person."
I'll take you up on that wager. Actually, if that event ever HAPPENS, I'll give you $10,000.

Oh so blind to the truth!! Atheists recognize there's no such problem as gods!! attractiveness of a supernatural declare has a tendency to promote cooperative social relationships. This verbal substitute demonstrates a willingness to settle for, with out skepticism, the effect of the speaker in a fashion resembling a baby's attractiveness of the effect of a confirm. through encouraging this style of habit the position the most extreme social relationships happen it facilitates the shortcoming of skepticism and deters more desirable open minded questioning. they are christian, Muslim or the different religions depending the position they were born because they were indoctrinated by way of their father and mom as very little ones. they are going to bypass on to indoctrinate their own little ones and those will bypass on to indoctrinate their grandchildren!! Atheists have the mind to work out through the conditioning and get away into the genuine international!! Agnostics have the mind to work out through the conditioning yet lack the braveness to throw of the conditioning fullyyt. regrettably Christians are nonetheless held firmly prisoner through the self perpetuating brainwashing!! you'd be more desirable asking of your self why Christians are so fearful of human beings that basically do not be counted on any god?!!!! easily it would want to easily be because they are so afraid that atheist are correct and they are incorrect or it does not hassle them!!!!!!

Unfortunately, nobody can meet God in person. Since we can only do so in Spirit, the issue of being afraid no longer holds. Afraid of dying? When the physical body is already dead?
The atheist is simply on his own path back home to God.

All are the servants of the One True God and abide by His biddings.
Sooner or later, the mature humanity will realize that God is the Creator and Sustainer of all worlds. People who turn to Him will receive His Divine guidance, those who deny Him will miss the divine education.

It's not a fear of God... it's the unbelievable attitude of the cult mentality that pays homage to a fantasy. Pay attention to the world around you and instead of trying to help people with their souls (which most do a terrible job at anyway), spend all that energy to JUST HELPING PEOPLE.

ha this is a dumb question! We are not afraid of God, we are in fact the opposite. Because we deny that makes us unafraid. Most christians believe in God because the fear of going to hell if they don't. They simply believe in God because if God does exist they will go to heaven, but if he doesnt they dont have to be afraid of going to hell.

We're not afraid of God - anymore than I'm afraid of a bogeyman with an axe or a leprechaun with a chainsaw.

If I died and then met God I'd ask him why he only wanted stupid ignorant people to believe in him and why his so-called holybooks are full of contradictions and violence yet free of science and especially and notably - MORALITY.

I'm not afraid of God. He's afraid of me. I know his dirty little secret.

People who are afraid of gods are the ones who worship it out of fear. There are no gods to be afraid of, reality is frightening enough for us.

If I thought for even a minute that he really did exist, I would indeed be afraid of a powerful creature who commits murder any time somebody fails to bow to him.
It takes a sick person to like a sick god.
