Before feeding your dog, take him for a long walk.
This is a great time to establish you as boss and
him as follower. Never let him lead you or go ahead
of you. You are the leader, so lead. Be the boss!!
After walking a bit, stop and let him pee, poop, and
smell the environment. Then restart the walk, keeping
him under firm control. Be the boss!!!
Walk for a while, pee break for a minute, walk.......
He should get most of his pee out of his system
before coming home.

Put his food dish on a raised platform, box, etc.
Monitor his eating and correct him if he looks
like he is going to pee on his dish.
After he has eaten, take his dish and platform away
and immediately take him out again to pee.

I say "outside" for anytime I think my dog needs to go
out to pee. He responds by going to the back door
and sitting at attention. I walk around the back yard
with him. I can even command him to pee/poop.
My dog is smart. Also he a very happy dog, because
he knows his proper place in our family.

I say "walk" for anytime I want us to go for a walk.
My dog loves his walk and runs to the front door,
sits at attention, waiting for his lease to be put on.

One thing I always do in the "outside" and "walk"
situations is to go out the door first. After all I am
the leader and should go first. My dog is happy
in his roll as number 2 and that is as it should be.
It is a lot like parent and child.

Teach your dog to sit and stay while you prepare
his food. Don't release him until you are ready
for him to eat. You must continue to establish
yourself as boss and dog as follower. Then order him
to eat and by that time he will thank you, if he could.

You are the boss, so act like one. Otherwise give
up the dog to someone who can establish a proper
relationship.

Keep bringing him to the dish, show it to him and say No! Then clean the dish in front of him, then spray your usual perfume, or rub it all around the outside of the dish . Next time he pees,do the same thing. Do this with anything in the house you don't want him marking! Replace his mark with yours, choose a scent like your body lotiion and get an essential oil of same scent, use this.

Gross. Never heard of that problem before. I would suggest you wash the dish very good. Maybe try a new dish. Maybe that is his way of telling you he doesn't like the dish or the food.

a1. i in my opinion do not think of there's a actual value on male vs. lady until you're proceeding to reproduce (not propose, of direction, and that i doubt meant, purely FYI). men are purely as affectionate as females and females are purely as shielding as men, so it generally is going right down to character. If the breeder isn't comfortable with you assembly the domestic dogs until now, i might ask why. purely going by technique of "baby?' isn't an excellent thank you to tournament you and doggy. a2. not every person can stay at/artwork from domicile, so as that being the acceptable acceptable, what you could artwork out sounds rather sturdy, extraordinarily because of the fact the 1st 2 months you would be around a lot :) the only subject is you will possibly desire to get the doggy used to spending time on my own very presently. positioned money right into a crate and get to grips with acceptable utilization. i might hesitate with getting a GSD for this style of subject because of the fact that i've got wide-spread them to be "clingy" and restoration to their vendors. Are you prepared to look into adopting an older canines? there are hundreds of canines in shelters and breed rescues that wish a 2d risk and can go somewhat longer in the process the day.

Maybe he doesn't like the food you give him! lol

But seriously. All you can really do is reinforce where he is supposed to pee. Every time he does it, take him outside.
Also, you need to get him a new food bowl, that way the scent is no longer there.

If this is true, it is apparent that there is something in that food you put out for him that smells just like his worst enemy. You know how dogs go about over spraying every where their arch enemy sprayed. Get him some better quality food that does not stink to him.

well how old is your dog? He might just be starting weird habits, and whenever he is by the door or barking, just let him out for a while, and try changing his food and always make sure he has clean water.

Dogs usually imitate their owners. Anyone else in the house does that?
