1. Do you wash your hair before you go to the salon?

2. Do you clean your house (not completely, just picking up a little) before the maid comes?

yes and yes, because one, greasy hair is probably not appreciated, and the way hair stylists talk all the time, they prolly gab about you the second you walk out the door, and yes, because even though you pay the maid to clean, she isn't your mother

Yes I wash my hair first thing in the morning so I don't wash it at the salon. The exception was when I got out of the hospital from a hip surgery, I had the salon wash it.

I don't have a maid. My husband and I do all the cleaning. We just spent two days doing a thorough cleaning for a New Years Eve party.

I always have a shower and wash my hair because generally I will be going out that evening and I want to feel clean. Also I don't think it is right for someone to have to work with dirty hair. I always pick up before my maid comes in because she needs to clean and vacuum and their is no reason for her to try and put stuff away when she has not idea where it belongs. This goes doubly for the kids rooms because naturally it is a huge disaster and she is there to do basic cleaning not tidying someone elses mess.

1. If it's just for a trim then yes, I will wash it before I get there. If I am having it styled, then I get them to do it.

2. Yes, putting things away before the maid arrives if polite. You have a maid to do the general tidying, like mopping, sweeping and vaccuuming. Not to put everything away. Even if she does the laundry, I think she should just have to wash and fold, not put away.

Just my opinion.

No to both. Only an obsessive compulsive person would do that.
