Is your hair falling out or breaking off? Hair gel will not make your hair fall out but, if your hair is very fine or fragile and you are using a very stiff gel and brushing or combing it too vigorously after the gel has dried, it could very well cause some breakage.

yes, gel does make your hair fall out

if you put alcohol on a pimple or on your face it will dry it out. if you put gel on your hair it will dry it out

c 4 yourself, look at the rubbing alcohol ingredients and compare them to the gel ingredients you should get a element with a percent sign. the alcohol in gel is for fast drying so that the hair can stay in place. good luck

I have heard this before, but am not sure quite sure of the validity of this. However, using gel on a constant basis can damage your hair. It is important to wash it out before going to bed and condition regularly.

Good luck!

There are some gels that have protein in them, that will help it grow, but it does cause breakage to people with fragile hair.
