Our one year old chihauhau mix has a cold. She is not coughing, but has a lot of muccus and periodically will breathe in and out with difficulty like she is trying to clear her throat (hard to describe) especially in the evenings. Her energy is very good and she doesn't appear sick otherwise.

There is a Yahoo group that you can join that discusses Homeopathy and cures for pets.

JJ you are very lucky you haven't killed your cats. any type of tylenol is very toxic and can be fatal to your cats. it will eventually shut down their livers. you are very fortunate.

you need to find out the reason for the chihuahua's muccus. you are going to have to take her to a vet to do this. if you believe in natural cures you can find an alternative medicine vet in your area in the yellow pages.

Please take her to a vet! Most likely she will need antibiotics, not a homeopathic remedy. She could even have a grass seed stuck in her nose, which are deadly if they travel up to the brain or spinal chord. She needs to see a doctor.

JJ - Acetaminophen (i.e. tylenol) is very toxic to cats and
should never be used to treat a cat!!
