are all schools in pa closed on 1/2/07 due to president fords death?

The Federal government is closed, as is the Postal Service. State and local governments make their own decisions about closing!

Some schools may close, but not all statewide. Some will be open!

I live in PA and our district returns to school on the 2nd and as of now there has been no change for the funeral.

I think that is absolutly crazy. No offense to the former president of course, but what other presidents have caused school closures?
