Please do not try and us Canada as an escape to do your duty. There is no draft, you are a volunteer, and a Canadian judge will send you back to the US to face your court martial. Oh, and you will also have to pay Canadian taxes on top of US taxes....bye bye pay!!

nope. as a US marine you can be deployed to any base or combat zone regardless of what country your spouse is a citizen of.
