That happened to me when I was in high school. My first true love broke my heart, and my best friend ignored me when I needed her most. Chances are, she has a crush on your ex, and is hoping to get together with him. That's what my ex best-friend wanted, only she was way too homely for him to ever consider going out with her.
Chalk her up as a lost friend. If you really need her to be there for you and she's not, she's not a true friend, and she's certainly not worth your time or effort.

From the look of it sweetie your friend never was your friend. She had the hots for your Bf even when you hadnt broken up and seized the oppurtunity when you did.Now its for you to show some self respect and confront her and tell her in no uncertain terms that the two of them deserve each other! The fact that she is not ansewring your calls is proof enough that she is guilty at heart and doesnt want to face you, just leave a message on her answering machine or something. After that just forget about both of them and move on!
Happy New Year

Are you sure she took his side? Always speak to the person who either did you wrong. Never relay on second hand information. Horse's mouth! Boyfriend and girlfriends come and go. It is the way it is until you find the right person for you. It is probably a good thing that this happened, you do find out about people. Right?

she took the advantage when she heard you 2 broke up she wanted him from the beginning and she already has left the friendship. doesnt sound to me that you lost much in either of them. you'll find some one you care about more not just a bf but a friend too.

That's not a true friend.
If she dates him she broke the girlfriend code,
" Never date a Girlfriends Ex Boyfriend ".

confront her. Since your not really mad then just call her up, meet her for lunch and tell her how ya feel. Hopefully she understands cause that was a Fu*ked up thing to do to you. But hope all things work out!

She is cold to you because she is pursuing him. If she and your ex together is something you are okay with and you could hang with them if they got together then tell her this. If you can't stand the idea, then move on.
