Who wants to answer this Riddle?

In baseball, why dose it take longer to get from first to second base then it dose from 2nd to 3rd?

I think you have the riddle backwards. It takes longer to get from second to third, because when you run from 2nd to 3rd, there is a shortstop in the middle.
