It's very interesting.
It's looks to be an eye.
I think the beholder of this eye sees or understands both good and evil co-exist signified by the yin and yang. Basically, meaning good cannot exist without evil, and vise-versa.
Around the eye was trees; on one half the trees were full of life, and the other were dead.......also tied with yin and yang; life and death, good/evil...etc.
To me I could see this representing the eye of God; creator of life and death, good and evil....or at least someone who would understand the principles underlying this painting.

I think that the theme of this painting can be best described as trying to have world peace in a world with hate and wars...

Judging by the overbearing "Yin & Yang" presence in the center and the use of multiple, intertwining colors and shapes around it, I would have to believe the theme to be "seeking balance among all things".
Either that, or a "Taoist ate a box of Crayolas and threw up."

I love the painting, it is beautiful. It reminds me of an Asian Symbol I have seen somewhere. It also has trees, I believe the painting portrays life and hope.

It is the eye of a person with an understanding of Eastern philosophy. The eye ball is the symbol of yin and yang, the balance of existence.

It's too literal abstract, I think it's cheesy and whoever painted it needs to come up with something more original than ying and yang. It's laughable. That's what it means. LOLOLOL
