ok i was talking to this boy that said that he liked me and what not so we talked to try to get to know each other before we date. I then sensed that he didn't want to tlak to me anymore. so the next time we talked on the phone I said i know this might sound dumb or weird but do you still want to talk to me? He gets all mad and lashes out and say "what the **** are you talking about?" "this **** is random." " you talking about breaking up" (mind you all that we're not a couple)I say whats your answer? he says" No i dont want to talk to you since you asked me that." I said I dont know why you're getting all mad because i wanted to know where your interest was. he says i gotta think about this ill call you back later. this whole incident happened on christmas day. he still hasnt called yet. Was i wrong? Or was he wrong? I dont even want to talk to him anymore. he just turned me off with that attitude. so ill just avoid/ignore him. Do you think that he'll come back? please be honest.

Honestly i think that he won't call back, at least not to really talk to you. I think that you were right and the only reason that he got an attitude was because you caught him before he could do anything. Honestly I think he is an idiot.

Well dont worry yourself because you surely didnt do anything wrong. I just recently had the same problem with my boyfriend. The attitude was just an excuse or a way for him to stop talking to you without having to tell you that. But if he'll call back or not i dont have a answer to that. If he really did like you maybe, but I wouldn't wait on the phone call cause you know how boys can be.

Wow, that's tough. What made you think he didn't want to talk to you anymore? It sounds like even though you have made up your mind that this is not someone you want to date you still need closure in order to figure things out. I would say that the tone of your friendship has changed considerably, and it looks like he thought your relationship was more serious than you did. He may or may not call back...don't hold your breath. If you want to talk to him, your fingers aren't broken. The best way to deal with any situation is with straight honesty, so tell him why you felt the way you did, and if he's worth the time he'll be honest with you right back...but if he has another outburst, I wonder if it's worth your time. I am sorry all of this happened on Christmas, I know that's the worst time to fight with someone you care about.
I want you to think about one thing, though...
if you don't want to talk to him anymore, why do you wonder if he'll come back? Why would it matter to you? Be truthful with yourself and you'll be able to deal with the situation a little more clearheadedly.

Sometimes we do things without knowing why, but something told you to ask him that question, and it is a good thing for you the question was asked, because this jerk is messed up between the ears and you got a chance to see that.
He's talking breaking up and as you said, you're not a couple.
You did nothing wrong and you would be right in dropping him like a hot potato.
To answer your last question, anyone stupid enough to talk to you
like that, will be stupid enough to try to come back.
If he calls you back again, tell him the divorce was final and to go away and leave you alone. (Mess with his mind a little!)

You asked him a perfectly honest and sensible question. It was very strange for him to have a tantrum and react the way he did. He obviosly had no reason to become so defensive so its probably a problem with maturity. Like you said you guys weren't dating so there is no way that he could have broken up with you. He wanted to rush into a relationship, but that sounds like a bad idea especially seeing as he cant even handle the talking portion. Maybe you should call him and tell that he had overreacted and sort things out so that you are on good terms, but that doesn't mean that you have to start dating him.

Christmas is a very, very stressful time for most people. A lot of us (I include myself) do things at Christmas that we wouldn't think of doing at other times. So wait until work resumes, say 4 or 5 January, and gently broach the subject again.

Lol... For starters, he may be a nice guy, but he sounds like an idiot. From your statement, I didn't feel that you were unintelligent or a psycho, so I'm willing to believe in you.. He sounds like a moron. Enjoy the freedom that you don't know about. This guy would have weighed on you like an anchor in about a month.

Sounds like my ex and the temper he had. I dont think he is worth it. A guy that gets pissed over a little thing like that is a guy that I wouldnt want to get involved with. Pleas be careful for my ex was abusive and it reminded me of him.
