There are two types/sizes of beagles in the U.S. - the 13 inch beagle (Not exceeding 13 inches at the withers) and the
15 inch (Not exceeding 15 inches at the withers).

My beagle is 6 months old and weighs 27 lbs. the vet told me she could get between 45 and 50lbs and that would be the ideal weight for her. She's what they call a 15 inch. She has long legs. Which the vet told me was good because they don't have elbow problems.

15 inch is the largest in the US and 16 inch in Great Britten.

it depends on how much yeast is used. I prefer mini bagels
