When my father sleeps,his breath stop in 1 second.what is wrong with him?

Sounds like sleep apnea.

He needs to go to a sleep lab and be tested over night.
There'll wire him up to various machines, and find out if he's got any lumpy bits of tissue in his throat which is stopping him breathing(apnias).
The sleep docs will know after sifting through the data in the morning. If he has, he'll need a cpap machine (continous airway pressure machine), so he can sleep properly at night.

Have him take a sleep apnia test. Often someone who is overweight has sleep apnia.
