Alright. So I had plans to go to this little party w/ 8 or 9 of my friends. Then my girlfriend comes in and says she really wants to do something, which isnt a big thing I can hang out w/ my friends whenever.
But I was talking to her friend and she said that she just called my girlfriend and decided she was going to her house and hang out w/ her and some other chick. I get a call like 10 minutes later w/ her saying that shes going to go crash over at her friends house 2nit.
But Ive already told my friends that I was doin something w/ my girl. And when I wasnt going, Aaron and Ally said they werent going, and then when they left Jake and Josh said they werent going, and all that left was Alex, Amber, Ashley, and Tori; but they all just canceled it after that. So its not like I can just go hang out w/ my friends then.
So I cancel all of my New Years sh!t to hang out w/ her, and then she goes around and cancels the thing w/ me so she can hang out w/ her 2 friends?

I would definitely be pissed off! Underneath the anger, I'm sure you must feel hurt too. It sounds to me like she cares more about herself than anyone else. It also seems like she's playing games with your head and your heart. I don't know about you, but I would rather be single than to be with someone like that. Call up some of your friends again. I bet you can find someone to hang out with. Good Luck!

seems to me like you 2 have some communication issues. why not call your friends up and explain like you did to us, if they are your friends they'll invite you along. As for your girl, why didn't she want to spend New Years Eve with you? That's where I'm going to be, with the ones I love. Have a good one no matter what you decide to do.

She has demonstrated to you that her interests are more important to you than yours are to her. In other words, she is apparently not interested in supporting you in your interests. Not having discussed her wishes with you prior to making the changes, it suggests you can do better than this for a girlfriend.
Count it all as a learning experience and thank her for letting your aquire that bit of information about her. Then move on to find a better girlfriend.

Right. You should insist she change her plans. Plain and simple. Make her spend it with you. Don't spend the night mad at each other. Go out and forget about what happened. If she refused, I would definitely get very upset.

Call your friends and do something else. Even if it's too late to do what you originally intended, you might still be able to salvage the night.
Whether or not you have fun, be sure to tell your gf that you did.

definitely. what she did makes her undependable. next time, if you plan something with friends, and she calls asking you to do something, tell her, "maybe some other time, babe. i'm busy tonight." but definitely have a talk with her about this and then move on. if this continues, break the relationship off. you deserve to be with someone who's dependable.
