theres differnt reasons some women think that it does buy happiness and some just want others money to spend while some want to know that if they want to start a family and need to take off work for a while they dont have anything to worry about and that they will be taking care of
it really just depends on the women

Financial security.
It is one of women's highest concerns for the future. (as it shoudl be yours too) The fact is, financial stability shows a mental and social balance in a man.
if you don't have a lot of meny, then be confident. The good ones know how to find a man that is well balanced by their attitude and confidence.
Still, you might try to find a way to save some money just in case.

SENSE OF SECURITY.
They feel more protected and cared for, that the man can PROVIDE FOR THEM , THE HOUSEHOLD AND THEIR KIDS !!!!!
It's certainly NOT what Chinaman said. He's immature and attracting the wrong kind of girls which he seems to enjoy. How juvenile.
The right kind of women for the right kind of men who want to marry & have a family wil be the women who are not materialistic but WANT a sense of security that they are not going to be the one holding the baby and worrying about nobody to pay the gynae, hospital, baby delivery , household , food, groceries, utilities , water & electricity bills , children's school fees, children's living expenses, children's etc etc !! women think further about what happens after marriage.

wouldn't you want a women who made more than you if it didn't affect your ego? why would a woman want a man who made less? it would be nice to find a man that made more but that is not a huge issue for some women i am sure...

Because they want a man who can buy them things! Mainly material things. They don't want to support a man. Although that's shallow!

Everyone wants security, so someone making plenty of money is a good sign of security, though it is definitely not always a true sign.

For financial security, my friend. And for social status. When she has children, she'll need someone to provide for her children. She may have a lover who's broke, but she may want to marry someone who can provide for her needs beyond what she is capable.
