I can find women that like to read in the library or at conventions. But, they're often out of my age bracket or they're so shy, they'd qualify as "female nerds" women unequipped to deal with a guy asking them out.

I'd like intelligent women. They have somethings in common with me. But I'm also good dresser and more socially capable than many of them. If I go to the socially able women, they're ready for a relationship, but they don't have any interests in common, since I don't party all the time.

Consider a different age bracket.....
Take extra time to understand the female nerd....they can surprise you!
Take a class, join a book club at the book store.

Intelligent women can be fun and hard to detect, too. Some women don't show that side since they don't think it is attractive. They might be tired of the party routine.

Bottom line.....spend more time with everyone you meet.
Don't be too quick to judge and label.

First, those nerds you talk about may be exactly what you're looking for. I know it's harder to get to know them, but they have walls up for a reason. What's behind the wall is a per son of virtue and integrity.

Second, you might try begin their friend first. Don't approach a woman being in pickup mode. Just be genuine and helpful. While you must be confident, with women like this you need to be humble too.

So, just keep reading. Maybe even read a book about women.

Classical question...how do I find a partner? Answer...by looking where your type of partner might be found. First, look inside yourself and learn to love and honor yourself. If you can feel comfortable in your own skin, the type of woman you want will recognize that and will respond. Also, sit down and draw out what "type" of woman you'd like. Create for yourself the picture of your "ideal mate". Describe her with as much detail as you like...and then set for yourself a clear intention to meet this person. Visualize her as you would like to meet her, focus on that vision and visit it every morning and every evening. Try it, it really works.

It's hard to find educated women who are into reading. You could try taking a creative writing class.

You could go to a bookstore like Barnes and Nobles or Borders where they have coffee shops. It's a great place to hang out. It's casual and you will be in your element - books.

Women who enjoy reading can be found everywhere. On the subway, the bus, at your place of employment. It is important to ask what they have read lately. I think you will be pleasantly surprized.
