Two of my co-workers were speaking filipino, I think, and I told them I knew what they were saying. I really don't but it would be fun to call them out on at least one word I overheard. They were laughing when they said it, so I am sure it is slang of some sort.

The told me about dialect, too. They said, "You don't even know the dialect". I do know that the one guy is from up near Vigan.

im a filipino but i never heard that word "goata". maybe they are not filipinos :))

I too am Filipino and have never heard of the term. But then again, there are many different dialects so hopefully, someone might be able to tell you.

i have never heard of goata. maybe guapa or guava? guapa is derived from spanish, meaning beautiful. guava is a sour fruit. hehe
