Somehow I think I understood that.Crime scene investigators and coroners are a function of local governments here in the U.S. not private companies. If you are skilled at one of these things you will probably have an easier time immigrating but it still takes a really long time.Unless of course you sneak over the southern border and take a job illegally picking apples or something.

If you're interested in which jobs the Department of Labor says are "In Demand" (and thus good candidates for a work visa approval), check out O*Net.
Here's the O*Net page for Criminal Investigators (In Demand!):
http://online.onetcenter.org/link/summary/33-3021.03
You have to contact individual employers regarding job openings.

there are tens of thousands of computer jobs that foreigners have. But at my last job they tried for years to get a world class antique gun expert and restorer over here legally. Noting but problems while 15,000,000 Mexicans walked thru our "border". Crime scene? Coroner? are you ten years old? Stop watching tv to get an idea of what you want to do with your life. TV isn't real
