I don't know what you're talking about but the the traditional colors are red and gold.

there's no such thing as chinese color of the year....
red means lucky in chinese
white is used in funeral but black in western culture
yellow or gold means royal in chinese ancient culture and only emperor can wear yellow/gold
i can't think of other colors that has meaning in chinese culture.
