Be good. Simple enough.

And there's no hell. See, I don't get people who don't believe in God because of the whole hell thing. If the idea of hell makes you want to disbelieve God...maybe it's because hell is a literary idea from the Middle Ages and it's not a part of true Christianity. So, if you don't believe in hell...makes it a lot easier to believe in God!

Think about it. What makes more sense: God with hell, or God without hell? It's not that God doesn't make sense...HELL doesn't make sense! So cut out the lie of hell and believe in the goodness of God! (And God isn't a man or a woman, BTW.)

Everyone, depending on his/her religious or spiritual background, will give you a different answer to this one. So, on one hand, I think you have to figure out what you believe about God on your own--meditate, pray, hike,--whatever you need to do to feel closer to a higher power. But, as for me--God loves you no matter what. There is no such thing as Hell, save for that which you create for yourself either on Earth or elsewhere.

And on a lighter note, since I think some people get far too frightened and serious regarding religion in general--if Hell does exist, according to what I've heard about what it takes to get in, all the more interesting people will be there anyway. :)

Seriously--I think God's love is unconditional and ever constant. Just because we don't always feel it, or perceive it, does not mean it doesn't exist or isn't true. That's what faith is all about. Have faith it exists, but even more so, have faith you can figure out your relationship with God on your own without just blindly believing what someone tells you--not me or anyone else.

First of all god is not a woman,he is not a person at all ,he is a higher being, all mighty, merciful, and very loving,he is diferrent from any thing you know or imagine.I think that the only place you can find god is in your heart, religions are just to show you the way,how to love and worship god,I think that all the wise and pure hearted people knew god and found him within their hearts. The best thing you can do to make god love you is to love him back, love his creatures have mercy on them ,do what you thing is good and do not do what is bad.You can read about ligions too.

God is the Creator of the Universe. Everything in it, including everything you own, is His. God already loves you, and in order for Him not to cast you into Hell, you jut have to ask Him for forgiveness for your sins, and ask Jesus Christ to live in your heart to save you from eternal damnation. It's totally free! Oh, and, anytime you sin after you become saved, you need to ask for forgiveness. Once you ask for forgiveness, God will ont remember what your sin was. Awsome, isn't it?!

Good for you for bringing up the female aspect of God. I personally belief God is beyond gender, and is both male and female, otherwise God would not be balanced and would not be perfect.

When in my religion, we talk about a female "god", we use the word Goddess.

Anyway, if you're talking about a Goddess, then you are probably talking about a religion that has no "hell" anyway, so the question really doesn't make lots of sense.

God is the very essence of everything - and it doesn't matter what you call it. It is the air you breathe, the people that greet you on the street. It lives in each of us. You will not be cast into hell - despite what fundamentalists say. The only one who can make that judgement is the Almighty.

God is reffered to as the father and he already loves you he loves you so much that he sent his only son to die for your sins so that you could have eternal life in heaven. He also loved you so much that when you recieve christ as your lord and savior he sends the holy spirit to be in fellowship with you. All God has ever wanted since he created man was to having a loving relationship with his creation.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
What this means is you need to pray and ask the lord to come into your heart and life. Confess your sin(admit your a sinner) ask forgiveness for those sins and that you believe that Jesus died on the cross for those sins.
This is know as the sinners prayer
Saying the sinner's prayer is simply a way of declaring to God that you are relying on Jesus Christ as your Savior. There are no "magical" words that result in salvation. It is only faith in Jesus' death and resurrection that can save us. If you understand that you are a sinner and in need of salvation through Jesus Christ, here is a sinner's prayer you can pray to God: "God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!"

Salvation is a gift though, other than asking Christ into your life there is NOTHING you can do to earn salvation no works of any kind there is no Merritt involved.
The Bible says for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. The only way God can except you into heaven is if your sins are washed by the blood of Jesus Christ and you are a child of God
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: NO MAN cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Excepting Christ Gift of Salvation is the only way

GOD IS SPIRIT..THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS.. GOD IS LOVE...
God is a HE.. not a she.. and He already loves you, so much that
He sent His Son to die for you..You may ask why does He love me and why do I need saving? He loves you because he created you. He knew you before you were ever concieved in your mothers womb. His desire is to love you, and for you to love HIIM.
God is a protector and a father, He is all that you will ever need and He desires for you to prosper and learn who He is...
Why do you need to be saved?
Because without Christ, sin destroys your soul and there is no peace. All is confusion and chaos... but with HIM all things are possible..
we already have a strike against us when we are born, and without Christ, we can never overcome. It is not in our power.
That is why He HIMSELF came down to earth, was born as a man and died upon the cross.....leaving His home in glory to suffer shame for us so that we can be free...free from sin and death.
