My boyfriend's arms are pretty hairy and I think I'm gonna ask him to shave/wax them for me. Just one question though: Is it weird fora guy to do this? He's only 22 and most guys I see our age have hairless arms or close-to, so why does he have hairy ones?

I shave mine and they are realllllyy smooth. and it makes your skin super soft. what i do to help the hairs grow back soft and not stubbly is if you exfoliate after you shave with a scrub (i use st ives apricot scrub, its a face wash) also you dont have to shave as often as people say, arm hairs grow back really slow. I shave mine once a week, but sometimes you can go longer. so i recommend it defiantly, i was scared the first time too but its really not that bad, and if you decide you dont like it then just stop and they will grow back normall && don't listen to all these other people telling you not to shave because they will grow back thicker...blah blah blah....its not true, arm hairs are different from your leg hairs. take this from someone who ACTUALLY shaves their arms.

Why are you focusing on his hairy armpits??
On a more practical note:
1) you can ask him to shave/wax (probability of him doing it = unknown)
2) you can focus on his other better qualities and accept him as he is, hairy armpits and all.. (probability of success = 100% if you do it)

Some guys are more hairy. Latin, Italian, SE Asian are hairy. Guys do shave/ wax as part of personal grooming.

Body hair is different for everyone. If you have him shave it, it will just grow back darker and thicker, and for awhile it'll be prickly too. I personally think it would be weird to have him do this. Guys are meant to have more hair than girls. if you don't like how dark it is, maybe you could ask him to bleach it. you can get a bleaching kit at many retail stores and they make the hair look less visible and it won't be as weird for him not having any hair.

Yeah, its weird. Just let him rock the hairy arms. If you dont like the way he is then you shouldn't be with him. Who the hell shaves their arms?

People are different. Why are some people black and some are white? If you ask him to shave, you might make him self-conscious. Some girls love hairy guys. Some don't. Why is that? People are different.

Probably genetics. He most likely gets it from his father. I've seen plenty of guys with very hairy arms. I find in very unattractive!

actually i think that its more likely at that age that they have hairy arms. i would not worry about it. i am not sure why you care but no one else does.

I shave my arms, I know a lot of guys who do so it isn't odd or uncommon
