Well it depends how old you are?? If you are underage and he is older then you, I would wait so he won't get in trouble. If your not underage then go for it, its your happiness that counts.

well depends on why they dont like him.. If its cause of age then u can't help who you fall in love with.. but if its other reasons then maybe you need to sit down an think about it.. I dont think age should be an issue uless you like 12 an he's 17.. i can't say anything about being 16 an him being 21 i have been there.. im dating a guy that is 7 years older then me now.. like i said you can't help who u love.. It really depends on your age. If you are living at home with your parents, they are your authority. Parents can see things that you can't. They know what is best for you and want the best for you. The best thing you can do is obey your parents. I'm not against dating someone older. My husband is nine years older than me and we have been married for 25 years.

You may have heard this before, but trust me, you don't know what love is yet. You are too young. Older guys only look for one thing, and they go for younger girls because they can't find a girl their own age to give it to them. He will only take advantage of you. Stick to guys your own age! Would you want your daughter dating an older guy when you have kids? No, you would be worried about her.
