My hair is long, dark brown, and straight. I'm sick of my boring hair! What color streaks would go good with it? I want thin streaks. I have fair to light medium skin. thanks!

I had a friend put red highlights or low lights whatever they are called in mine. I like red so wanted red for a party or something, but she told me red washes out the fastest, but that was ok I didn't always want my hair to be red, that wouldn't be professional at work. When it faded it first turned this gorgeous copper color and is now kinda blond, but after the red faded it has looked natural ever since

HI i had the same problem before. It depends on what colours you want. I would recommend light browns, coppers, and DARK blondes are nice (but DON'T do thick streaks of v. light blond as i tried this and it did not look good, it tends to make hair look greasy and cheap) if you do want lighter blondes, get highlights of it with light browns to blend it to your hair better. Hope this helps! Good luck :D

Sorry but I wouldn't suggest highlights or streaks. I would go for a different color all together. Your complection looks good with dark reds to dark browns.

i havent actually tried it yet, but there are several pics from hair sites that have red streaked in dark. its kind of a strange red. . . black works, but it might not show up very well. blonde works, but i personally never liked that look.

Medium brown, light brown, caramel, or a combination of those types of colours. I don't suggest red, I think it woudl look a bit odd.

Just a little bit lighter, and jsut a little bit darker. It adds alot of contrast.
