For those that did not see the Arlovski-Cruz Fight at UFC 66, Dean paused the action when Arlovski intentionally kicked Cruz when both men were grounded and did not take a point away. Then, while Arlovski was finishing the fight, Cruz tried to roll Arlovski over, only to be stopped when Arlovski grabbed the cage. Dean did not get Arlovski's hand off the cage and that probably cost Cruz the fight. This coupled with several other bad decisions that Dean has had lately, i.e. Ortiz-Shamrock 2, are beginning to form a pattern. Who thinks that Dean should be fired, and if not, what do you think UFC should do to prevent these things from happening?

You forgot to mention Arlovski punching Pdp in the BACK OF THE HEAD. He stopped the fight because Arlovski was punching pdp in the BACK of the head. How can they give Arlovski a TKO for illegally punching pdp? I agree with you 100 percent.

Herb Dean definately needs to be fired I said the same exact thing last night during the Arlovski fight. I think since there arent any other UFC refs the ones they currently have don't take their jobs as seriously as lets say the PrideFC Judges. While UFC is firing people they need to fire Joe Rogan and replace him with Randy Couture.

UFC Please fire herb dean. This errors just keep getting worse. Early stop to Faber when he clearly gave the thumbs up that he was ok. Now ufc 170 early stop in Rhonda's fight when the challenger clearly jumped up after the stop. Liver shots are bad but she popped up too quick after the stoppage to not have been given the opportunity to continue. 8-12 week training for possible 25 min of fun just to have the ref steal not just the fight but all that time from the fighters. Send h back down to the local shows for a few years maybe then he'll learn to get it right. If the fighters need to be top level athletes to participate in ufc then they deserve the best refs no exceptions.

Herb Dean shouldn't be fired. If he does get fired, he'll still be reffing in other places. He already refs for King of the Cage as well.
