I have lots of little hairs that just stick up and they look horrible. How can I get them to stay down without using hair spray?

I have the same problem and I am asthmatic so I can't use hair spray. It sounds grose but I use a little hand cream. Unsented cream just a bit on the tips of the fingers and rub hands and than put it on those stray hairs. You could use Dove Moisturizing hair cream but it dosen't work so well. You could also use mose on dry hair but I don't like it. There are products like frizease. lots of things from fruitise but as dumb as it sounds a pit of hand cream works great for me. Good luck! Bye.

Try a different conditioner (Pantene with amino protein). You could also use Dove anti-frizz control ( rub cream in hands and use on the parts sticking up).
There is also a ton of other products that you leave on and use your hands to calm down the fly aways (spray on hair that is almost dry and repeat). Avoid using your brush when applying these products (static), use your fingers like a comb from the scalp to the ends for overall benefits.

I'd say use gel but as the day goes on it tends to flake. I live by hair spray.

use a gel called shine located in most drugstores or discount stores like wal-mart and target. Just a little bit goes a long way and know one will know that you have used this product.

Gel is the only other way I know of unless you just cut all your hair to the same lenght and start over.
