Hi there. Bide your time, prove to your mom that she can trust you in as many ways as you can. Be honest and open with her as best you can. Go out of your way to show her how hard you are trying to be mature and helpful and co-operative. Then, when you feel that your relationship is solid and you're communicating openly about stuff, be honest with her about the stuff that you'd like to do. Listen to her. Remember she is just being protective and controlling because she loves you and doesn't want you to be harmed.

But you do have to earn her trust. That means being proactive about it. Not just sitting back and waiting for it to happen. Be patient, it won't happen overnight. I fully encourage open honest communication with your mom. It makes being a teen so much better. Your mom can be your friend and ally. Don't shut her out and she won't want to deprive you of the fun you're meant to have as a teenager. Good luck!
