ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ohio -- A grand jury indicted an Arlington Heights police officer accused of sexual misconduct during an arrest late last spring, News 5's John London reported.

Paul Smith has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the case, officials said.

A young woman claims that when she was arrested outside Lichty's Tavern about five months ago, Smith lifted her skirt and inappropriately touched her.
