We're planning to get married in June and have had no luck finding a location for a reception. Any ideas for events in the San Fernando Valley, CA???? Need help...

Dear Bride, plenty of places will accommodate modest budgets. Consider boats, barges, docked ships. Consider warehouses, office buildings. June should bring decent weather so consider outdoors (might need sound system for ceremony), such as parks, parking lots, patios, etc. I'm sure you realize that the location isn't what's important...but realistically, you may have parents or friends who have some expectations you want to meet. Consider meeting your own expectations, not theirs...and this might simplify the approach. Good luck.

Find a good grove, park or shelter where you can cater an outdoor wedding. Public parks are good places for this if you can reserve a permit.

A Bed and Breakfast house may accomodate you.
my daugther had her wedding and reception at one.
--limited space, drinking may not be allowed. worth a try..was affordable for her.
