very interesting While it is true that we do not know the day or the hour, we DO know the signs of the times and most of the signs are in place, so that he could come even today before the new year passes to 2007.
Things are getting pretty bad, but I don't think they are bad enough as they will be pretty horrible before he comes again. I think that the 2012 or even sooner is very possible.
As far as the Bible is concerned he can come right now and there will not be any contradiction to the scriptures.

That's funny.
I'm an American, and nobody asked me if I think He'll be back in 2007. From your answers, it seems as if most of the regs on Y!A got skipped. Evidently, this is not a very accurate poll.
Anyhow, my thoughts, since you asked are--He'll be here when He gets here. Till then, don't worry too much about it, just do the best you can to be the best person you can be.
May the Lord bless you and yours this coming year.

I am from Romania and I can`t say you the text in English , i don`t know.

Apocalipsa 21:2

"Si am vazut cetatea sfanta,Noul ierusalim, pogorinduse din cer de la dumnezeu, gatita ca o mireasa, impodobita pentru mirele ei.
I will try to translate."

Apocalypse 21:2

And i have seen the holy fortified town, new Jerusalem, climbing down from sky from the God,decorated like a bride, ornated for her broom.

Its hard to translate.

But the bride is the earth. We are not decorated how Jesus worths. We are not enough ornated. The God waits new decoration.Decoration which bright.

I would like to know the percentage of people who thought the same thing for the years 1998, 1999, 2000,2001..........and so on. It says this in the scriptures.

Heb.9
[28] ...; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

So he will appear only to those who look for him, so I guess if you are not looking you may never know if he as come. So maybe 25% of the people will then be looking for him, so maybe they will see him. That would be wonderful.

No one knows when He will return...the Bible tells us that. However, I'd never call those who want to believe "crazy"...look how many laughed at Noah as he built the Ark in the middle of the desert. If that happened today, how many people would believe him?? All I can say is be ready.....whether it's today, next week, next year, or whenever. After all, none of us knows when our own time will be up!

No one knows the day or the hour, but He will come when you think not. I hope He does, but I'm no sure if the gospel has been preached unto all the world yet, It could be today or 30 years from now, God only knows.

the bible said...no one knows when Jesus will return but He promised He will return to take the Church(the called out once),people who accept and believe in the Son Jesus. What i know is that He will come like a thief in the night.
His return has not fulfilled yet because He is giving us the chance to preach the good news to all people around the globe and as a christian it is our responsibility to spread His Word to our family, relatives, neighbours, and to all people.

It says in the bible that no one knows the day or the hour. Not even Jesus knows, only the Father. I due, however think that the end is nigh.

That's the nuttiest thing I've heard in a while.
Oh, ok, 25% of those polled. I'm pretty sure they didn't poll all Americans because I know they didn't include me.
Peace

I think the girls should be very excited, because when the Rapture happens and they all fly up into the sky, all the cool boys who wouldn't go to church with them will be left behind, looking up their skirts as they ascend.

And then they'll marry Jesus and have lots of babies in heaven and never have to do anything like work, or get an education.

Bliss!
