Kitty for a dog's name seriously takes the cake. I mean, can you imagine yelling "Here Kitty!" to your pet dog? And yet, one of my friends had a dog named Kitty.
Weird.

I work at a pet store...here are some of the odd names I have heard:
Ruff
Bark
Sniff
Lick (these four are my niece's)
Haeu (pronounced Hey you)
Whiskey
Shrimpy (for a great Dane)
A.D.D. (A Distracted Dog..... lab mix with miniscule attention span)
Dungadog (Austrailan Shepard)

How about a black Miniature Schnauzer named Puppy Yellow, she was named by my granddaughter when we got her, she loved yellow, the name has stuck for 5 years now

I work at a vet hospital and I was going through our records and found the best name
"Satan's Crimson Ghetto"
The person who owner this dog named their other one "Satan"
I named my black lab
"La Bella Raksha"
It can mean either "The beautiful protection" or "The beautiful demon"
My Shih-tzu is named
"Le Dulce Brina"
everyone acts like Brina is a weird name...I don't think it is

My dog's previous owners named him Iwyn. They argued about whether to get a dog, and the wife won. She won the argument, and she named him I-win. That was changed to Iwyn.
When we got him, we renamed him Ivan.

my friend has a dog named gidget and also one named shnookoms thet are both huskies and i have to admit they are really cute!my dog is named rigby and i dont think that is really weird but some of my friends have told me that it is a strange name.
