I had cards from both companies years ago when I was trying to rebuild my credit.
Orchard Bank increased once a year usually six months after their annual fee was charged. (18 months from when you first got the card).
First Premier will make you wait a long, long time.
Call both companies and ask for an increase.
Advice: Use them only for what you really, really need and get rid of them as soon as you are financially able.

I personally do not recommend HSBC aka Orchard Bank. Their whole process is a nightmare. It took them more than 5 months to setup my account and another 3 before I had actual access to it. Horrible customer service with call centers in India and the Philippines. Just say no!
