I dont really care about the subject matter or the style but you need to improve your method because the colours are dirty, I dont mean dark, I mean lacking integrity....like you over mixed them and they are muddy. Are you using acrylics? They are dirty paints, it's hard to get a clean looking painting using them.
You have a decent touch and sense of composition but you need to produce less 'fuzzy' work. Learn highlighting rather than shading and do more painting from life.

Good base for a painting.
I think adding more details and texture will help it "pop" and add interest.
