I wouldn't say "excited" necessarily. New Year's Eve stopped being exciting for me many years ago. I will stay home with my kids, where it's safe. It's the only night on the year that my children are allowed to stay up until midnight (I have young ones!) and they are very excited about it. Being home with my children is my idea of a perfect night!!!

The excitement of New Years Eve is directly linked to age.
The older you are and the more you have seen of them the less excited you are. The party is the thing. If your over 40 and still partying...good for you.

This is just another day to me, it just happens to be the last day of the year. I'm never really excited on New Year's Eve. My resolution for this year is to focus more on my career and what makes me happy than to worry about what is going to make others happy. This year and for years to come I am living for me!

I'm ready for 2007 because I'm going to my senior prom, graduate from high school, go to college, get a brand new car, and I'll be 18 (Feb 20)!
