Holy water is ordinary clean water which is prayed over (blessed) by a priest or bishop. It is used for the baptising of children, or adults as required. In Catholic, Orthodox and some Anglican Churches it is placed in special containers just inside the church so that the faithful may use it to bless themselves i.e. dip their fingers into the bowl and make the sign of the cross. If you have a sick person at home and require Holy Water, to sprinkle around the bed or for the person to use to bless themselves whilst praying you make request some from your nearest church.

I do not believe in holy water. That's a catholic thing. I do however, believe in the use of anointing oil. It is blessed through prayer, I suppose the same way as 'holy water' is.

well there is 2 ways you can bring a bottle of water to church and have it blessed or bring a empty bottle and fill it from the water they have there.It is alway's given out with no problem.I always bring a empty bottle and always have some at home.God Bless and have a good new year

U CAN GET IT AN A CHURCH BUT U DONT HAVE 2 STEAL IT THEY BLESS IT SO U CAN HAVE IT IT IS USUALLY OUT BY THE DOORS AND U CAN GET IT URSELF BUT IF IT ISNT GO TO THE PRIEST NAD ASK HIM FOR SOME
