is it wierd calling a guy that you like, which he doesn't know you, only seen you? I thought of calling him and asking him a few questions as if i'm doing a quiz to all teens in the area. in that way i'll get to know more about him, right?! but is it wierd? I can't find another way on how i can talk to him and become friends. will this be more of a way on how i can become friends with him? He stars at me sometimes and then he look down when i look( i don't know if it a coincidence-he looks sort of embaressed). Help me plssss

Don't lie to him - just don't tell him everything, don't start out a relationship with lies. You say he only knows you by looks and therefore he would not know your voice; especially over the telephone. Therefore, just tell him that you have some questions for him that he can choice to answer or not. You have no need to give him your name at first. Ask him the questions and if you like what he has to say you can tell him who you are or not. You can play the mystery girl for a while --- that will really get him paying more attention to other people trying to guess who you are. What a rush! and turn on that would be.. topped with security letters, notes and cards placed where he will find them and no one else; like his locker at school.. Think about it, No lies and a little mystery or a secret admirer.. have fun with it..

I really like your unique idea of calling him up to collect information on teens for a quiz. You will need to let him know what you will do with the quiz information you collect so that he can appreciate that you are being honest and forthright.
Just don't call him, be sure to call others first after you have set up a list of questions.
Good luck.

He's probably just shy. He does like you. Just make it easier for him and talk to him - if you like him. This is a two way street. If the guy likes you and is shy, it may take him a while to come over and talk to you. But if you also like him, you could always make it easier for him and ask him out. Why not? Take him out for a coffee or something. It may be a little weird, but better than waiting around.

I think it would be a fun thing to do calling him up like that. Even though it does not mean you will become friends you can sort of introduce yourself to him and let him know who you are.
Usually when a guy stares at you and then looks down when you look means that he does like you but isnt planning on saying anything.

No not really, just don't become obsessive about it, and you might wanna let him know it's you, that way if your going to be rejected it can happen now instead of the future. Don't start making surveys up left and right, do it one time and leave it alone. You can get carried away with it all, and it's bad for your health.

no its not normal to start an attraction to someone with a lie that you are soing a poll of some kind ! and YES it is weird that you would even think of doing this. Obviously if he has had chances to "stare" at you, that means that you guys see each other and THERE is your opportunity to spark up a conversation and see where it goes.
deceit will NOT get you too far hun HONESTY is the only way!

It's a little weird, but that's not the problem.
If he does like you then he will know your voice. In any case, can you actually make the call without blowing it?
have you ever thought of calling him just to say Hi and see where it goes. Maybe you both like coffee or smoothies. Maybe he'll take you out to get one.
You won't know unless you try.

ive done something like that before, and it only made the guy i liked like him more lol. well i guess you can try to do that and see if he really is great and all, or if he is a really friendly person, just call him up and say its you! and just start talking to him. one time in 5th grade i called up this guy and i told him it was me and he was like "heyy!" like he was happy it was me and i just told him i liked him and we became good friends. or in school just go up to him and be like "heyy!" and start a conversation with him. if this is a guy you dont normally talk to, maybe you have some friends that do, or are friends with him that can get you guys together, thats what happened to me ! or call him up as the quiz thing, and tell him your friend dared you to do it, maybe then you can become better friends. (:

That's a weird way to get to know more about him. It would be better if you could find a way to talk to him in person. That way you will get an indication from his body language and non-verbal communication, as well as what he says.

i don't think you should do it because he might not like you trying to sorta spy on him in a way....he might feel uncomfortable that you called him in disguise and that you know so much about him...when you see him looking at you, smile and walk up to him and start talking...i think thats more real and that now he knows you better and not just as a person whose trying to stalk him by asking him questions and disguising as a survey person...i hope you get my point...
