Well it depend how old are you?? But anyways is not a big deal but choose your partner wisely because there are lots of diseases. You will know the right time when the time comes, but dont wait till marrige you are going to miss out all the fun, cause what if you wait and then you dont like how your husband touches you? think about that you should try different things and you decide what you realy like but sex is harmless if you do it with precaution and resposability... dont rush it over a guy do it when you feel ready... Happy new Year

Preferably when you are married. If you were to get pregnant what would you do? A baby and you are not even out of school. If you contracted a sexually transmitted disease what would you do? A disease that can be transferred to others.....hide the fact that I have herpes.......bumps, inflammation, and puss filled bumps? If he took your goods what would you do? And then he said I loved you then, but once I got what I wanted I'm done? Most guys never ask girls to marry them, they just live with them for over five years because they always get the milk(sex) so there is no need for commitment in that magnitude. Once you have sex you can not turn off the urge. Once you are no longer pure that is it, you will have to live with the decision and memory for the rest of your life. Last question if your mother or father was to ask you about sex would you be embarrassed? Then you are not ready. Give guys something to want. Don't be easy and make a name for your self so early. Of course you know what I mean when I say name.....like skank, hoe, whore, and etc. There is nothing embarrassing about being a virgin. It's a choice. If I was a guy I would know I had a good girl that no one had their slimy mitts on. Never a good time but the right time and it is NOT NOW. My question: why do young people want sex and they can't even fend for their self, have a job, an apartment, or a car. Sex is about emotions. Emotions that sometimes won't be returned the way you like.

QUOTE "Wait until your married. Otherwise you will be in here asking does he love me? all the time because you won't know if its you or the sex he wants. You also wont be in here asking if you have a sexually transmitted disease like AIDS.If you wait til your married you will know for a fact he loves you." QUOTE
If I had enough points, I'd give this guy a thumbs up. A lot of guys stay with you for the sex. You can be sure he loves you if he is willing to wait till you're married. Cause what if things don't work out? Then later on you meet this great guy and you fall completely in love with him and he tells you that it is really important to him that you never did it with anyone before. The first time should be the most special moment only with your husband. A lot of the really great guys are really into being your only one (ever) and letting your virginity make the wedding night the most unforgettable. It really is a gift you should save for the one you love and will spend the rest of your life with. And you can only be sure of that after marriage. If he really loves you, he will wait. If he won't wait, he doesn't really love you, he's only in it for the sex.

I think it is really just a personal thing. If it is against your religious beliefs, wait. Studies say that waiting makes your sex life better in marriage because you don't compare.
Elsewise, whenever you feel you are ready and also can do it safely. Get on birth control first and make sure u have a condom. Its a nice thought to save it for someone special, but then a few years later you might think 'why did I date him'. So if you dont want to regret it, marriage is the best I would think. If you don't mind the idea of being active in colllege and young adult state, well I'd almost say get it over with :-P but if it can be special make it special

If you have to ask this question then your not ready to have sex yet. Honestly waiting until your married is the best choice because your giving yourself completely to the person you married. Unfortunately it doesn't always work out that way. You should wait until your older and able to handle the emotions and the responsibilities that come with having sex. Wait until your on some form of birth control and always insist that your partner wear a condom.

when you feel ready, you'll no. Make sure you dont have any regrets about it and that you are safe. I had a friend wait till marriage, and afterwards she didn't know why, cause its not all cracked up to be what you think. Make sure its with a good guy that'll take your feelings into consideration, and have fun. Dont put so much pressure into it. I'm glad I didn't wait for marriage, I waited till I was 19 though....I was happy when I did.

I think 16 is a good age to have sex for the first time. It all depends on the person really. A lot of Christians like to get married and then have sex for the first time. Like I said, it all depends on the person.

Sex should not occur before:
1. You are ready to deal with a pregnancy, should it occur
2. You are ready to deal with an STD, should it occur
3. When you know how a woman can become pregnant (all the ways it can occur)
4. When you know what the various STDs are and how they are transmitted and how to help protect against them
5. When you are ready to insist your partner wear a condom
6. When you are on a reliable form of birth control and using it properly
7. When you are ready to deal with any emotional issues that may come from being intimate with another person
Until you've got those things covered, you should not have sex.

It is not an age that determines a good time, it is you, and if you are considering having sex, dont do it just for him or because everyone else is doing it, do it because this is what you want to do, and hopefully you could see yourself with that individual for some time, because with sex, will come paranoia, and fright, so make sure you can talk to your partner about anything, rather sex, school, going to the toilet, anything.
