As an example: I am a tribesman who lived 2000 years before Christ. I am not a Jew. How, therefore, was my life judged by God, since I had no knowledge of Christ etc.

To clarify (as I seem to be getting answers which miss the point) I am asking a question from the perspective of a hristian. OF course if you don't believe in Christianity the question is pointless. If you are a Christian, it is an interesting question - because Jesus' teaching (to Christians) applies universally. I realise someone who lived 2000 years before Christ probably worshipped a local deity! That's not the point!

This question only has relevance from a Christian standpoint. It's no good saying 'You would be judged by your own pagan God' - because to Christians these Gods do not exist! Unless the Christian God would judge them 'in the style' of their native God... hmmm... now you have me thinking... I don't think there's any scriptural support for that theory (that God (Christian God) would pretend to be Zeus to judge a pre-Christ Roman) but it's an interesting theory.

"All the people who lived prior to Christ coming, knew of the God of Abraham, Issac & Jacob" - Erm, did someone who lived in Japan circa 2000 BC, know these people or their God? No. Did Someone who lived in Australia circa 2000 BC know of this? No.
OK - to clarify again. Say, I am an aborigine. Obviously, I am in what will one day be named Australia. I have never even seen beyond the territory of my hunting grounds, let alone heard of Israel. I will die long before Christ arrives. How will God have judged me? Via my coscience? Will he transform himself into a dreamtime creature and judge me then, when I die? Some good answers so far, but think it through people, before you reply, please.

God tells us that every man will have had testimony given to him in one way or another, it is up the person if the listen and follow this or not. God is not or never has been secretive from anyone.

Man, that's a great question and requires me to think aloud. If you weren't Jewish and couldn't be Christian, then you had to be some brand of pagan. You worshiped Ra, Mithra, some trees, nature in general, or possibly Jupiter if he goes back that far. As you stood there in your fancy goat leggings, not accepting Christ into your life, you were either damned for being shortsighted, or totally pardoned under the "Know Not What They Do" statute that came much later and got retroactively applied. Sounds like a good deal; you could do no wrong.

Or maybe, just maybe, reincarnation was reserved for those who stumbled on all the Christian values by accident, giving them a chance in a another life to accept Christ.

The book of Romans answers this question very well.
Chapter one and two

God created us all with the law within our hearts and a modicum of faith.
If those people you wrote about followed this law and faith that was placed in their hearts from the start, they will be judged righteous by God in the end.

The difference now is that we have heard of Jesus Christ and the law and modicum of faith that is still in our hearts must be accepted just as before but with the added knowledge that our redeemer has been here and paid the price for our sins.

I cannot explain it as well as the book of Romans does, so please read it for yourself. Also there is a documentary and a movie out that shows this very thing in action. The documentary is called gates of splendor and the movie is called End of the spear. They are about the very same tribe, but the movie is more sensationalized than the documentary. Also the documentary shows the tribe au natural, and the movie covers them up.

All the people who lived prior to Christ coming, knew of the God of Abraham, Issac & Jacob. God says that no man shall be without an excuss because it has been written on his heart. God's plan has always been for all people. Those who were non jews, followed jewish laws as in Acts when a man named Cornelius, who feared God was told by him in a vision that a man would come to his house & tell him what he must do.

If you were a non-Jew, and you weren't Christian (which didn't exist before Christ), then you would have been praying to God, Buddha, Allah, the Sun, or some other god. You would have been judged by whatever god you believed in at the time.

When Jesus was resserected from the grave He went and released all the dead from a place where they were waiting. The Jews believe in the hope of thier Messiah to free them, and will be judged on judgment day just like everyone else.

What is the meaning to be a Jew or a non Jew if you are to be judged by a Christian God?

The beauty of religions is that everybody is judged according to his/her religion and that religion's god. if you are a Christian, you are judged accordingly. But if you are not, than you cannot be judged by Jesus.

Same as for everyone, resurrection hope.

Who will be included in the earthly resurrection?

John 5:28, 29: “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice [the voice of Jesus] and come out.” (The Greek word translated “memorial tombs” is not the plural form of ta´phos [grave, an individual burial place] or hai´des [gravedom, the common grave of dead mankind] but is the plural dative form of mne·mei´on [remembrance, memorial tomb]. It lays stress on preserving memory of the deceased person. Not those whose memory was blotted out in Gehenna because of unforgivable sins but persons remembered by God will be resurrected with the opportunity to live forever.—Matt. 10:28; Mark 3:29; Heb. 10:26; Mal. 3:16.)

Acts 24:15: “I have hope toward God . . . that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Both those who lived in harmony with God’s righteous ways and people who, out of ignorance, did unrighteous things will be resurrected. The Bible does not answer all our questions as to whether certain specific individuals who have died will be resurrected. But we can be confident that God, who knows all the facts, will act impartially, with justice tempered by mercy that does not ignore his righteous standards. Compare Genesis 18:25.)

Rev. 20:13, 14: “The sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Hades gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds. And death and Hades were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.” (So, those whose death was attributable to Adamic sin will be raised, whether they were buried at sea or in Hades, the common earthly grave of dead mankind.)

Each of the three major religions were revealed by the same one God, but a new religion came in with modifications. So at the time, that was the religion.

back then the jews were right and held to the same god, but afterwards they don't accept jesus (all logic of the story withstanding) so jews after jesus are 'bad' to christian lore. but before him they were ok. you are a non jew anyway and should have been a jew if it's all true. so as a tribesman you are a nonbeliever like anyway.

The God that came before Christ...

We know them today but they use pseudonyms…

Zeus was Satan...
We can find original text written in Greek, Latin as well as Hebrew. The Greek alphabet was assigned numerical values (The X gives the Z sound of Xylophone) X (=Chi) 600; Xi (shaped like a curled capital E) 60 and S (Sigma) 6. (Although Sigma is no longer used, it was) Thus 600, 60 and 6 spells XES, the Greek spelling for Zeus. In the KJV translation - where the name of the prophet Elisha (meaning 'My God is Saviour') has been retained in the paganised form 'Eliseus' (My god is Zeus). In similar fashion, the Name of the Hebrew Messiah YAHU'SHUAH (meaning 'YAHU is Saviour') has been paganised to read 'JeZeus', ('God is Zeus') which later became 'Jesus' in the English language (pronounced 'Jezus').

600 (X), 60 (Xi,=E), 6 (S) the number of his name, clearly spells XES the original Greek spelling for ZEUS.

The Greek creation myth has Gaia as the mother goddess, and Uranus as the father god.

Venus… In the Bible – She was referred to as the Queen of Heaven…

Jeremiah 44:17 (NIV) "We will certainly do everything we said we would: We will burn incense to the Queen of Heaven and will pour out drink offerings to her just as we and our fathers, our kings and our officials did in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. At that time we had plenty of food and were well off and suffered no harm." …And there are those who claim that it's referring to Venus, Asherah, Ashtoreth, Ishtar, or Isis. They are all the same person. Venus is equivalent to the Egyptian Goddess Isis, the Phoenician Astarte and the Babylonian Ishtar. Venus is known as the daughter of Heaven and the Sea (Creation)

Was Satan really Zeus aka Adam and was Venus really Eve aka Isis?

Jeremiah 1- Prophecy Part 3… Heads of “Zeus/Nike” abound on buildings in D.C. Isis is in grid layouts and in bas-relief sculptures of Greek and Roman gods and goddesses from one end of town to the other. The ancient story unfolds of Satan’s first child (first-born Cain) and his first Great Eagle Goddess, who was “Eve” (Isis). This Isis “Queen of Egypt” aka Venus is the worshipped Madonna with Child (Isis and Osiris) for today’s German/Roman Catholics and others.

So as you see from the statement above, Satan’s first child is Cain, which means Satan is Adam who was Zeus. And Eve (Venus) was Isis the Madonna and Child.

But to clarify a misnomer about Venus

There are so many different versions of these stories handed down.

There is one who says Zeus was married to Dione and had a daughter Aphrodite.

There is one that says Venus is Aphrodite. Wrong!!!!!

There is one that says Venus is the daughter of Uranus and Gaia. She is known as the Daughter of Heaven and Sea (Creation)

So if Venus is Uranus' daughter and Aphrodite is Zeus’ daughter, they cannot be one in the same!!!!

In addition the planet Venus was named after her. In astrology she rules Libra.

And I’m sure she would be insulted at being called Aphrodite!

Yes, Venus was around long before Mary!!!

And I think it’s about high time she was forgiven for eating that apple!

If you asked me Satan aka Adam lied and it was he who was the evil one.
