meditation is a very personal practice and can be done in many different ways.
If your bored with your meditation, get a "walk through" CD.
it's kind of like a guided meditation, where you listen to the story, and walk through it in your mind, using relaxed breathing and visualization.

Different people meditate in different ways. Find what works for /you/.
Real meditation doesn't really need a special way of doing it, it's just clearing your mind. You could be standing of the bus, sitting in McDonalds or lying in bed, as long as your mind is free.
I 'meditate' while listening to music, maybe it doesn't fit the 'definition' of meditation but hey, it works. :)

Yes, focus on your breathing. When you get bored and your mind wanders, focus on your breathing. Then when your mind wanders, focus on your breathing.
Bored. That's funny. You know, when I meditate, it's like being at a Broadway musical! A laugh a minute! I'm never lacking for entertainment!
