I met a girl in a nightclub a few weeks ago and at the end of the night i got her number. We text each other and talk on msn. The other day we went out together. We went out to town, as she wanted to go shopping. After that, we ended up going for a few drinks. We got on really well and i made her laugh, and i felt really comfortable around her. When we were on the way home, just before we parted company, she gave me a peck on the lips. The next day, we were texting each other again, and we found out we were both going to the same nightclub that night. So, I asked her if we were together that night, or are we single? She replied that she didnt want us being together for that night incase she pulled someone else because she intended on getting really drunk, and it wouldnt be her fault? She didnt pull anyone else that night. Right, what do you think i should do next? I really like her, and dont just want to be friends, or just end up as "some guy". Any help? I dont want to mess it up!

Shy Guy, Are you sure this is your kind of girl? I'm not familiar with the term "pulled someone else", but I'm guessing it means something like "reeling a fish in on a line"??? Ok, well, here goes:
Obviously, she wanted a little space. Give it to her...in fact, give her more (space) than she asked for. If you don't, she'll walk all over you, while still seeking to "pull someone else". You will get hurt. This will be very difficult, but it's what you've got to do...trust me. You need to disappear off of her radar for awhile. She has your number, afterall, she's been texting you back. If she's REALLY interested, she'll contact you (afterall, she's been texting you).
I've read a lot of books on relationships & getting what you want...AND AT 45 I KNOW HOW TO GET WHAT I WANT!

It sounds like to me she wants to keep you around and be free to do whatever else she wants to do. If you want to be with her, say so and tell her how you feel. One of two things will happen, she will tell you that she will be with you exclusively or that she wants to see you and other people. You won't know until you talk to her. Sound like an excuse when she said she'd be real drunk and might not be able to control herself, she might be trying to avoid hurting your feelings. She might hook up with a new guy everytime she goes to the nightclub. Give it some time and be careful.

well if yall both get along with each other go for it. if she gives you that answer again because she is going to get really drunk, stay around her for the night so she'll get drunk around you and then she wont go with any other guy.
keep hanging out together and doing what you're doing. eventually if you guys just hang out enough it'll become kinda of like an unspoken thing that yall are together and not just two flirting singles. stay close to her, hang out and you wont even have to ask "are we single?"
plus, after re-reading your question, you said that she said "she didnt want us being together for THAT night..." to me that means she wants to be with you but give it a little time. you got this.

It doesn't seem as though she knows that you like her, or she's just using you for company. I know it sounds a bit harsh, but i did it to someone before and i regret it now.
She seem like someone who just want to have a fling or a bit of a flirt.
But my advise to you is, to talk to her and tell her how you feel about her. That is the only way you'll find out where your relationship or friendship is heading.
Hope that was of some help to you.
Happy new years and good luck xx

well, you don't have to do anything extreme. Just tell her that you like her and that you'd like to see her more or you'd like to take her out [if you haven't done that already]. Just be honest. If she doesn't want to be with you she would tell you right there and then you don't have to waste more time on her. You can find someone else.
I don't know about all girls, but i would appreciate if a guy would just let me know if he is into me or not, instead of playing games or whatever..., u know what I mean?
Best of luck

Strange..... I mean everything you've said seems perfectly natural up to the part about her response of "incase she pulls someone else".
That's either deliberately testing your limits to the maximum, or showing zero empathy... but yet she must like you as you've spent time together. Women eh.

Are you sure you want to be with a girl that gets drunk and pulls guys (and I assume sleeps with them?)?

Doesn't sound like she feels the same way. You should stop now, before you get hurt. You just met, stop before you fall in love.

relax, or you ll the two chase him away or deliver him the sign your difficulty-free ... What you will desire to do is wait, yet whilst your waiting think of of something you and him can do, on my own. not movies or bar scene (it somewhat is the place we meet the ladies folk we want for a nite, yet not those we would desire to marry) something else looking on the place your living, snowboarding, capturing, museum, racket ball, you ll think of of something. supplies you time to experience one yet another out without distractions. invite him to that at your next assembly..
