Vaughn--someone is feeding you a bunch of nonsense. None of this is true.

I cannot tell you much about this--but, I am sure some of the practices did come from pagan practices-----animal sacrifice, for one.

Now I'm no expert, so if someone else knows for sure, please help clarify! That said, I was talking to a Jewish friend who said that Jewish women sometimes have circles on the full moon, and that God in Judaism is neither male nor female (beyond gender), and thus can be referred to as either one. Those two elements do seem to have pagan overtones at first. But Judaism is also, as mentioned by someone else, a monotheistic religion. On the other hand, I imagine secular Jews can easily be pagans.

It's a conflict of interest. Pagans cast circles and talk to spirits and hold real authentic exorcisms and believe in multiple gods, whereas Jewish people believe only in one god. It's a conflict of interest and therefore can not exist.
