I saw this on Oprah and Dr, oz said that it is supposed to be clear- that means that you are drinking enough water.

Do you take vitamins? Because if it's a really good vitamin like the ones you get at a health food store (gnc-women's megahealth for example), your pee should be bright yellow. This means that they are working. I stay well-hydrated, take my vitamins every day and mine is bright yellow. The first sign of lack of hydration is usually when you are thirsty. Stay hydrated by making sure you drink BEFORE you get thirsty. The average woman should have 6-8 glasses of water a day...more if you are working out.

Your urine color depends on what you ingest. The more cola and Carmel colored drinks you consume, the darker it will be. I take a B Complex vitamin that makes it a very entertaining orange-yellow color.
Typically, the clearer it is, the less toxins you are riding yourself of. If you don't need to rid yourself of these, it will be clear, but if you are consuming a fair amount of sodas, etc and it is clear, there could be a problem.
You really only need to be concerned if your urine becomes cloudy, this could mean infection.

The color of pee is caused by bile, a chemical the liver produces to break up fat. When our bodies break down bile, the pigment urochrome turns pee yellow. The lighter the color, the more liquid has watered it down.
In fact, you can easily determine if you're dehydrated from the color of your urine. Dark yellow is a symptom of moderate dehydration and is a sign that you should drink fluids right away. However, taking vitamin supplements can also cause pee to appear yellow.
I think it was vitamin B in foods that gives it the color.

Clear through the day, but yellow the first time you go on the morning. The more water you drink the clearer it is

Clear...if yellow means you need more fluids (water mostly), yellow can also indicate kidney infection, urinary tract infection etc, esp if it has a noticeable odor (you'll know without getting too close :)
Drinking just a few extra glasses of water should have it all clearing up quite well, if you are inquiring about yourself

If your pee is clear then that means you are getting enough water and that is good. Clear is better. Just try to drink a lot of water.

Generally if your urine is a dark yellow color it means you're not getting enough water; clear is good. However, there are some medications and vitamins that will turn your urine some pretty funky shades of yellow/green, even if you're getting enough water.

I saw an Oprah show about this topic once. It shold not be darker yellow than lemonade. Darker yellow usally indicates you are not getting enough water (unless you are taking medication or vitamins that causes coloration changes).
