In general, fast metabolisms is better than a slow one.
A "fast metabolism." Just the sound of that phrase makes you visualize a rock hard, fat free body. A fast metabolism is good if you want to eat a lot and stay thin. If by "acidity" you mean heartburn, you are probably eating too many spicy foods, eating or drinking alcohol right before you go to bed or doing something else to irritate your stomach, like smoking. OTC antacids will possibly help your heartburn. I don't think you would really want to lower your metabolism. If you are concerned, though, have a doctor check your thyroid activity.

As long as high-calorie food is plentiful, a fast metabolism is good. Should something in the future limit our reliable access to food, a slow metabolism would once again be an adaptive advantage.
As an individual living in the US in 2006, consider a fast metabolism very good.

fast metabolism is like a double edged sword
if you want to look thin thin then its a good thing then its good coz no matter what you eat you will not put on weight
and the negative side is that you will never put on weight and look thin and to put on weight will be a difficult thing
if you are getting acidity that would be many thing s
try simple thing s like having digen it relieves gas , try having neem leaves just chew them drink water over it
but before all this please find out if you are allergic to anything

OOO YES..ITS GOOD!!!!....I THINK SO you are an Indian.....tell your momy to COOK some really nice Indian food with butter and GHEE!!!...it will help you to gain weight!!!...I am also an Indian and I love Indian food!!!!!....My wieght is 125 pounds and i also have fast metabolism.........try Indian Dish called"PARANTHA" or "Paronthi" with Ghee!!!..it really turns out good!!!..

i have fast also and i think its good. it allows me to eat a lot and not gain much weight. i weigh around 145. i play soccer and run track but i eat like a football player. i love it.
i never have to worry about not doing anything and then gaining weight because of it.
