Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Shampoo, Conditioner, Serum and Gloss Drops works great... especially when you want to straighten it.
Or Matrix Sleek line works really well.

Oh honey - I know your pain. I've got thick and curly hair and know what it's like! Some tips - 1. Don't wash your hair often (sounds gross, I know - but it works) your hair is designed to go without washing because it needs the natural oils. I only wash my hair 1 -2 times a week and it never smells or looks oily. You can wear a shower cap and shower, that's fine, just don't wash it. 2. Get a good and simple cut! Longer works better because it weighs it down (but not too long) while layers give it depth and style. 3. Wear a sleep cap. Lame, I know, but I bought a sleep cap (right beside the shower caps) and it keeps your hair from rubbing against the pillow at night and turning frizzy. 4. I'm not sure what your ethnicity is, but, treat your hair as if it were African-American hair. I had a hairstylist and this was the best piece of advice she gave me - use cholesterol for your hair ect...try some African-American hair products because they're made for ultra-dry hair! 5. Shampoo and Conditioner? My favorite are the John Frieda Curl shampoo & conditioner (should be beside all the other John Frieda stuff), not too expensive, and works wonders! 6. Post-shower, try a little leave-in conditioner or green sunsilk. It'll give your hair a chance to air-dry and take its natural shape, but keep the curls contained and sleek. Remember, if you work *with* the curl, the frizz should be reduced.

Redken All Soft Avocado Shampoo and Conditioner. If you hair needs extra moisturizing, then they have a Heavy Cream in the Avocado line--it smells awesome and leaves your hair feeling great. I have African American hair which is naturally curly and thick, but relaxed.

I have curly hair and sometimes it seems uncontrollable. It was really dry and gross before I started using a new shampoo and conditioner. I use Aussie's (the hair brand) line of MOIST shampoos and conditioners. It makes your hair beautiful, and best of all, brushable.

MATRIX. its the best shampoo i've used and my hair is curly, really long and thick and the matrix shampoo keeps in so soft and flowy. i love it. there's a few different ones. i like to use the one in the orange bottle because it conditions really well and makes it easier for straightening but there's a purple bottle too for curly hair and a reddish one for colour treated. you can only get it at hair salons and beauty supply stores tho. they dont sell it at walmart or other drug stores. its easy to find though. you'll love it!

Keratase is nice but it can be kind of pricey. Garnier Fructis works really well for me. It has a lot of oils in it to smooth out frizz and make hair soft and strong.

kerastase....great for really curly, dry, think unmanageable hair! use the shampoo, conditioner, serum, then the leave in conditioner! when drying your hair use don't use a blow dryer...towel dry or use a diffusers otherwise it will just be puffy!

Sunsilk. For dry hair. Put jojoba oil (baby oil will do) and leave it over night. Your hair will be good.
