My ex and I broke up about 8 months ago, and havent talked since. We dated almost 5 years and all he said when he was breaking up with me (having his friend break up with me) is that "he wasnt happy with me." But we dated for so long and we were talking about moving in together and (i thought) we loved eachother so much. Why haven't we talked since?
Ps- He isnt dating anyone else, i know this because we have the same friends and they tell me things... ALSO- i'm not the "jerk"...

OK, ladies... if he hasn't called for that long, just forget about the guy and go find others, or do something you love. I know it ain't easy at first, but you can do it. If you are an attractive girl, you won't have a problem finding a new guy. Just get some fresh air, go out, and make some new friends or hook up with your old friends.
Whether he is dating someone or not is neither your business nor your problem. You owe it to yourself to start your life afresh. Trust me, there are lots of guys out there, and you'll find a great one if you are out there and make yourself available. "Seek, and You shall find."

I don't know, but I sincerely think it's best you move on. I know it's hard after 5 years but you DID break up 8 months ago...that's a good amount of time for you to have already stopped wondering about him.
Seriously, it's not healthy to be asking this this long after you've brooken up.

Oh, Good Lord!! he had his friend do the dirty deed for him?Be glad this worm is out of your life. If he isn't happy with you, it simply means you're not what he wants. Next time, fall for a real man. I guarantee, there are great guys who will treat you with respect and be happy to walk by your side. And.. if there is a problem.. they will talk it over with you. It can be that he is confused and wants to think things through. i wouldnt find another reason why if you guys have been together for so long. Maybe the thought of moving in together got him thinking it sure as hell got me thinking when I moved in with my boyfriend. Things change when you move in together. i suggest you take the time to talk to him and meet up and sort of get things straight.

....... relationship's can be an ars*hole to figure out sometime's.... How-ever, getting his friend to imform you, was a pretty weak effort i must say.... Eight year's, is eight year's,..... a pretty lengthy period.... If that was'nt good enough for him,. then maybe finding out now, may not have been such a bad idea.... If there's been nothing from him, over the last 8 month's or so, check a few dating site's for a replacement..... If that was his call,... then so be it..... No one is irreplace-able..... i understand that you and him have the same friends but that doesnt mean that they are going to tell you everything. trust he is messing around or talking to someone they just have told you. are you over him? if you are then dont worry about wether or not he calls. move on and be happy
