i did this thing for 2 days that was supposed to give my dieting a 'jump start'... i made a leep soup with only leeks and water, and i drank the broth every couple hours and ate the leeks for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. i lost about 3 pounds over those 2 days, but it was NOT worth it. i felt weak and light headed most of the time, and the weight that you lose on liquid diets comes back as soon as you start eating "real" food again because the calorie increase is so great.

My best friend did it because the doctor was testing her digestion track, she was very thin and lost weight.
I had to eat nothing but broth for a day when I was prepping for a colonoscopy and lost a bit of weight.
I guess it just depends on how your body will react.
Getting back on solid foods was a challenge for me.
